Paul Perovich - GM
Paul Perovich brought his rich aviation background to Twin Cities Aviation in March of 2014. He holds an ATP Certificate with type ratings in the Boeing B727, B757, B767, and B777. He also holds a Flight Instructor Certificate and is a Helicopter CFI and CFII. Paul flew twenty two years in the military, flying not only Helicopters where he was an instructor, but Paul also flew A-7D Corsairs and F-16C Fighting Falcons. Paul also had a successful career with American airlines where he retired as a Captain in 2010. Paul has over 16,000 hours of flight time in general aviation, 135 charter, 121 air carrier, and the military. Paul brings that wealth of knowledge, experience, and professionalism to the helm of Twin Cities Aviation that no other flight school in the region can match.
Dan Whipple - CFI, CFII, Tailwheel - Assistant Chief Flight Instructor
Dan grew up on a cattle ranch in South Dakota and learned to fly a Piper Cub out of a cow pasture in 1966. He moved to Minnesota and earned a BS in Education at the University of Minnesota and a MS in Education at St. Cloud State University. He taught technology education at a local high school for 37 years. This included a program in aviation where he taught over 200 students to fly while still in high school. He is a CFIA, CFIIA, and tail wheel instructor since 1986. He has over 5,000 hours total time and over 3,900 hours of dual given.
Ryan Morrell - CFI
Ryan began flying while attending school at St. Cloud State University. During this time he earned flight instructor certification and built flight time in a variety of airplanes. Ryan joined TCFT in 2015 and enjoys helping students meet their aviation goals as he did.
