Airline Transport Pilot Rating

Looking to becoming a captain of a major aircraft? A career in the airlines? Then you need to get your Airline Transport Pilot Certificate; the highest grade of certificate obtainable by pilots in the United States

GENERAL REQUIREMENTS:
1) Be at least 23 years of age.
2) Hold at least a commerical and instrument pilot certificate.
3) Be able to read, speak and understand the English language.
4) Hold at least a valid first-class medical certificate.
5) Pass a knowledge test as well as the practical test.
6) 1500 total hours (of which 500 are cross country, 100 hours night, and 75 hours instrument.

FLIGHT REQUIREMENTS:
1) 5 hours dual instruction

GROUND REQUIREMENTS:
1) 5 hours ground instruction

*Course can vary depending on student’s proficiency, currency and ability
